    FLORIDA ROSE EVENTS

    2025 DSD Mid-Winter Rose Convention – February 28 through March 2, 2025

This event is one of two in a year where all members of the Deep South District of the American Rose Society (Florida, Georgia, & Alabama rose societies) come together to learn, network and celebrate those achievements of the 20+ represented rose societies in the DSD. The event begins on Friday evening with a meet and greet reception and setting up the basket raffle, where donated baskets with prizes are decorated for a raffle held on the following day. The following day, Saturday, the raffle is opened up and there are usually three guest speaker programs for attendees to enjoy. After the guest speakers, sometime after 1pm, the grand raffle is held and the prizes are handed out. In the evening there is a dinner where the DSD recognizes the achievements of local societies and their members. On Sunday morning there is usually a tour of a local garden or some other function away from the event location. At this time, event organizers take things apart and the event is brought to a close. The event will be held at:

    Best Western Gateway Grand
4200 NW 97th Boulevard, Gainesville, Florida 32606 United States
